According to the Daft.ie Irish rental price report, national rental prices are at an all-time high. In Dublin, rents are 15.5 per cent above their highest peak in 2008, and 66 per cent higher than their lowest peak. To give readers a qualitative sense of what these percentage increases mean, it now costs, on average, more than €1,900 to rent a two-bed property in Dublin city centre.
